Primary Sales Duties

  • Work with an established territory and client list
  • Prospect, develop and secure new business
  • Identify potential opportunities for digital sales and prospect for new business
  • Develop a monthly plan to achieve realistic sales targets – and review with managers to monitor progress
  • Secure ad material from participating businesses
  • Create quotes and client proposals
  • Submit ad copy for ad production when required
  • Set up new business accounts when required
  • Participate in company structured training, group sales meetings and new product launches

Additional Responsibilities

  • Submit paperwork (insertion orders, credit applications, account information, etc.) in a timely manner
  • Adhere to sales deadlines for booking and ad material submission
  • Maintain a clean and accurate sales run list – by publication and by month
  • Actively support and encourage other sales team members
  • Other duties as assigned
